Cubed Talent are pleased to be recruiting for one of our long-standing clients based in the Shipley area. Our client is looking to appoint a materials handler to join their current team on a permanent basis due to continued growth.
We are looking for someone who is capable of working within a fast-paced engineering stores or despatch environment, to ensure materials are unloaded, decanted and located as required, and picked and issued ready for production. There is potential for this role to develop into a team leader position over time, heading up a small team.

Duties will include:
- Unloading vehicles in a safe and timely manner
- Checking supplier paperwork matches what is being delivered and quantities match order
- Ensuring material locations are correct and recorded on the computer system
- Moving material locations and maintaining the layout of materials
- Supply Production with their raw material requirements in a timely manner
- Consult with Production to check packaging stock requirements
- Responsible for the Saw (Setting, Checking and cleanliness)
- Conduct perpetual Stock checks throughout the year as required
- Strapping pallets for despatch
- Loading the van for deliveries (strapping the pallets down)
- Other general warehouse and site duties as required
- Previous experience in a similar role
- Holds an FLT Counterbalance license (accredited)
- Holds or has previously held a FLT Reach license
- Good teamwork and work ethics to work in a small tight team
Working hours and Benefits:
- £26,000 per annum
- Permanent
- Days 40 hours per week - flexitime

Due to growth and the introduction of a new shift, the company are now on the lookout for an experienced production supervisor to join their team. Ideal experience includes supervision within print, production, assembly or machine operation environments.
As Production Supervisor, you will play a key role in overseeing day-to-day production operations, working with the team to ensure jobs are delivered to the highest standards of quality, efficiency, and safety.
We are offering this role on a permanent or temporary-to-permanent basis, dependent on the successful candidates current situation.
About the role:
Supervise and coordinate production staff across assembly, filling and despatch duties

Due to continued growth, they are now looking to recruit a despatch administrator to join their team on a full-time, permanent basis.

About the Role:
Using the company ERP & computer systems to view and progress orders for spare parts
Generate shipping documents
Check status of orders and provide updates to customers and internal teams
Arranging collections with freight forwarders
Using the courier software to prepare waybills
Resolve customer queries
Resolve packages stuck in customs
Logging details into imports system
Providing import clearance instructions to customs and carriers
Arranging collections from suppliers and customers
Arranging for customers parts to be returned after rectification
Skills & Experience Required:
Knowledge of import/export processes is essential
Understanding of Incoterms and customs formalities
Strong IT skills
Organised and diligent with strong attention to detail

This role would suit a candidate with a strong administrative background - ideally from a manufacturing or engineering background - with some knowledge of supply chain or purchasing principles. Being proficient in the use of MS Office is essential and ideally you will have experience working on ERP or MRP systems. You'll also be highly organised, be able to communicate effectively verbally and written, have the ability to work well as part of a team.
