Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Senior Quality Engineer to join our fast-paced manufacturing team, specialising in the production of lighting solutions for commercial vehicles and off-highway equipment.
In this role, you will have full ownership of the company’s Quality and Environmental Management Systems (QEMS), ensuring compliance with ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 standards.
You will provide expert technical quality support across the business, lead continuous improvement initiatives, and play a key role in strengthening our culture of quality and environmental responsibility. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, detail-oriented, and driven to deliver exceptional results.
Key Responsibilities.
Manage, maintain, and continuously improve the Quality and Environmental Management Systems (QEMS) and associated procedures.
Audit and update processes, manuals, and documentation in line with evolving standards and requirements.
Lead and coordinate customer audits, ensuring successful outcomes.
Conduct internal audits for ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 compliance.
Oversee document control, release, and revision management.
Perform supplier audits and manage quality relationships with external partners.
Prepare and manage customer PPAP and ISIR documentation.
Maintain calibration processes for equipment and tools.
Manage internal, supplier, and customer non-conformance investigations.
Manage Goods Inwards Inspection documentation and processes.
Track, analyse, and generate monthly quality KPIs.
Conduct quality checks across manufacturing stages to ensure product compliance.
Lead continuous improvement projects to enhance production quality and efficiency.
Required Qualifications & Skills
Exceptional attention to detail.
Relevant qualification in Quality Management or Engineering.
ISO 9001:2015 Auditor.
Strong knowledge of problem-solving methodologies (8D, RCA, 5 Whys).
Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a quality engineering role.
Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
Excellent internal and external communication skills at all levels.
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
Desired Qualifications & Skills
Understanding of ISO 14001 requirements (ISO 14001 Auditor preferred).
Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and techniques.

Are you a CNC Machinist looking for a new permanent opportunity within an excellent working environment?
We are recruiting on behalf of a Global leader in the design, development, and manufacture of high-speed machinery to recruit CNC machinists to produce engineering components.
The successful candidate will have experience setting and operating CNC machines (ideally having some knowledge of programming) and will be able to manufacture small batch complex components working to tight tolerances. Experience working with Mazak or Fanuc controls is an advantage but is not essential.
On offer is a competitive salary plus substantial shift premia.

Job Role

Ideal Candidate

Job Role

Ensure compliance with all legislation, codes of practice, industry guidelines and/or Company Procedures/Policies relating to Health and Safety, inclusive of COSHH
Ensure already used fittings and materials are utilised as a priority without compromising quality
Maintain tools and equipment in order to maximise their use and prolonged life
Work effectively as part of a team
Person Profile
To excel in this role, we are looking for candidates with the following attributes:
Experienced in site Joinery/Carpentry, and a recognised Joinery qualification/apprenticeship (City & Guilds Craft or Advanced Craft in Carpentry & Joinery or L3 NVQ in Carpentry and Joinery)
The ideal candidate will also have strong operational experience related to Joinery.
