The role is based from their UK headquarters in Bradford, and will include travel to their Leeds site, as well as occasional travel to their site in the South of England.

- Maintain and develop EHS policies and procedures
- Monitor and review site Environmental Aspects & Impacts
- Internal and external EHS training
- Ensure site risk assessments are kept up to date
- Monitor KPI’s and drive work to achieve them
- Undertake QEHS internal audits
- Involvement in toolbox talks relating to EHS issues
- Investigate injuries, incidents and near misses
- Help to develop a positive EHS culture
About you:
You’ll be an experienced EHS officer/advisor with detailed working knowledge of safety arrangements and EHS management systems ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 and possess the NEBOSH certificate. Ideally, you’ll be from an engineering or manufacturing environment or higher risk work environment. Additional skills required include:
- Experience and confidence in training others and presenting in person
- Exposure to environmental technologies or environmental reporting
- Producing technical written reports
- Good communication skills
- Ability to consistently work under pressure, meet deadlines and meet individual performance criteria
- Ability to form good working relationships with factory floor and management teams

Internal process audits.
Hands on approach to quality checks and preventative measures.

Manage & report on non-conformance reports.
Incoming Goods inspections.

We're recruiting for a production engineer to join our prestigious engineering client based in Shipley. The role will design methods of manufacture through the interpretation of models and creation of CNC part programs.

About the role:
The role purpose is to interpret 3D models through CAM system, create CNC Part Programs to manufacture parts on our various CNC machine tools. Use of post processor and simulation tools to prove code before release to production.
Duties include:
Evaluate part Drawings/Models for manufacture
Design a method of manufacture for each operation
Select tooling, apply cutter paths using CAM software
Produce a setup sheet and tool build documents
Carry out electronic prove out using Vericut, Veriprog and Mazak Smooth
Carry out prove out with the operator at the machine
Maintenance of existing Programs and Shop Doc’s
Liaise with all departments including external suppliers
About you:
The successful candidate will hold formal technical qualifications (ONC or above) in Mechanical Engineering and have experience in a similar role with considerable experience in engineered part manufacture. Ideally you will have experience within the machinery manufacturing sector or with wide metal working process experience. Proficiency in CAD & CAM – 3D CAD is essential – Siemens NX preferred.

About the role:
With responsibilities including designing of new equipment, processes, procedures and systems, purchasing and overseeing equipment installation, this role will work cross functionally on various projects. Duties will include:
Design new systems, equipment and processes to support new product introduction across operational areas.
Support Design for Manufacture (DfM) and Design for Assembly (DfA) development meetings to ensure the smooth transition in to full production.
Support during the review and tender stages for new equipment, working with internal stakeholder to agree technical specification.

Liaise with research and development staff to ensure new product can be assembled and the correct processes and equipment are available for start-up.
Develop effective automated and non-automated systems.

Champion change management processes owning the ECR/ECN process for projects.
Embrace SQDC (Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost) in all projects.
Evaluate manufacturing processes based on quality criteria focusing on efficiency and speed.
About you:
The ideal candidate will have experience in a manufacturing environment, ideally covering areas of discrete part manufacture, and assembly operation, including fixtures and poke yoke.
An understanding of fast-moving machinery would be desirable but not essential as training could be provided.
Applicants should also have:
Formal technical qualifications or experience in Manufacturing Engineering - HND or Foundation Degree in Manufacturing Engineering, ideally working towards a full degree.
Understanding of metal working processes.
Understanding of assembly and no fault forward by design.
Working knowledge of Engineering and Manufacturing BOMs (eBOM/mBOM) aligned with operations team assembly and manufacturing methods.
CAD (2D and 3D) ideally AutoCAD and Siemens NX.
Previous experience in assembly or manufacturing operations, including commissioning of new operations.
Experience working as part of project teams.

Collaborative Planning: Work closely with Sales during the quote phase to provide accurate lead time estimates and ensure Engineering meets target issue dates.
Data Management: Verify data integrity of part setups and ensure Production Engineering makes timely Make/Buy decisions.
Scheduling Excellence: Produce precise schedules and maintain the MRP Exception Listing spreadsheet.
Financial Liaison: Collaborate with Finance to perform standard cost build-ups on Make parts, enabling timely production work orders.
About You:
Demonstrate efficiency and accuracy using MRP2.
Have understanding of Bill of Materials and Routings.
Be proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
Have a background in scheduling or supply chain.
Work with an organised approach with a ‘can-do’ attitude, able to communicate effectively and work to tight deadlines.
