Our client’s site is conveniently located near the M606 motorway in Bradford, BD12, with easy access from South Bradford, South Leeds, Birstall, Halifax, and North Huddersfield.

Our client is recruiting Pipefitters/Welders to join them on an ongoing basis, working on either an Umbrella basis or PAYE.

Working Hours:
Working Monday to Thursday - you can enjoy a long weekend or take up occasional overtime on Fridays paid at a premium rate.

  • Monday to Wednesday: 07:00 – 17:00
  • Thursday: 07:00 – 16:30

The Role
Read & work from manufacturing drawings to work out cut measures on both carbon and stainless-steel pipework

  • Welding to X-ray standard on both stainless and carbon steel (mild) materials
  • Ability to weld using TIG & MMA welding processes
  • Ability to fabricate pipework and associated fittings in line with drawing specification
  • All other general fab shop duties expected of you across the shift
  • Ability to TIG butt weld stainless steel 2mm wall thickness, butt weld carbon steel 5mm wall thickness


What you will bring to the role

  • Have proven work experience in fabrication, TIG and MMA pipe welding with stainless steel and mild steel
  • Hold a relevant qualification or be time served, experienced in TIG welding within a similar engineering environment.
  • A Plater Welder with experience in TIG welding on stainless could be considered

Working on a day shift with flexibility to move onto shifts where required, you’ll be responsible for maintaining, servicing, and repairing a wide range of machinery across the site. With over 60 years of industry experience, our client is a market leader in modular building and temporary accommodation solutions. They design, manufacture, and deliver high-quality, sustainable buildings for offices, classrooms, healthcare facilities, housing, and more. Key Responsibilities: Carry out repairs and maintenance on machinery, including overhead cranes and CNC wood machines. Undertake bearing changes, work with pneumatics and hydraulics, and perform fault finding on PLC-controlled systems. Ensure all work meets safety and electrical compliance standards – knowing when to escalate to a qualified electrician. Use a range of hand tools and maintenance equipment effectively.
