About the Role:
As a Mechanical Design Engineer, you'll be at the forefront of innovation, responsible for crafting and refining mechanical components, equipment, and automation solutions systems across a range of diverse projects. Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, you'll ensure the seamless integration of mechanical systems and provide invaluable technical support throughout the project lifecycle.
About You:
Solid experience in designing and developing bespoke automation machinery.
Collaborating with cross functional teams to deliver turnkey automation projects from concept through to commissioning.
Proficiency in CAD Software including SolidWorks
Liaise with customers to understand technical requirements and determine innovative solutions
Familiarity with mechanical testing and measurement methods.

The Role
Fault find, diagnose and repair on a variety of machines including autoclaves/moulding, hot wire cutting machines and others.
Resolve machine breakdowns promptly to ensure maximum throughput to meet customer demand.
Working with pneumatics and hydraulics
Experience in mechanical maintenance on motors, bearings, pumps, valves, mechanical drive systems & hydraulics
PPM / TPM activities
Recommended machine modifications to enhance OEE and increase productivity
This role includes an on-call rota (1/3 week, on rotation, Mon- Fri up to 10pm, on-call enhancement paid, any hours worked on call paid at an enhanced rate)
The Candidate
Will hold a Level 3 mechanical qualification or equivalent
Experience as a maintenance engineer within a manufacturing environment
Previous experience working with pneumatics and hydraulics
Experience of working safely with electrical
Ability to priories jobs to reduce downtime
Must be able to commit to the on-call rota (currently 1 week out of every 3)

The Role
As a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth running of plant machinery and automated equipment, minimizing downtime and optimizing productivity. Key responsibilities include:

About the role:
The successful candidate will be responsible for purchasing of a specified category of Direct materials and / or Indirect subcontracted services. The varied role will involve both strategic and tactical elements of Purchasing. This will principally consist of Supplier Sourcing and Selection, Price and Leadtime Negotiation, Supplier Relationship Management including hosting regular meetings and attending supplier visits, in addition to RFQ and PO Placement activities.
