We are recruiting on behalf of a Global leader in the design, development, and manufacture of high-speed metal forming and finishing machinery, with an $8.5 bn turnover, a reputation for excellence and operations in 41 countries. They have proudly achieved The Queen’s Awards for Enterprise for their international trade, innovation and sustainable development. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing various tasks to support the machine shop, such as inspecting, assembling and testing products on a work bench, ensuring that quality products are being manufactured to standard. Part of the role will involve providing constructive feedback to the improvement team and carrying out effective end of shift handovers.  The ideal candidate must have prior experience of bench fitting/hand skills, and knowledge of Quality systems and procedures with excellent attention to detail and problem solving skills. The successful candidate will be able to read and interpret technical drawings to fit and deburr parts. CNC Machinist

The successful candidate will have experience setting and operating CNC machines (ideally having some knowledge of programming) and will be able to manufacture small batch complex components working to tight tolerances. Experience working with Mazak or Fanuc controls is an advantage but is not essential. Our client is looking to appoint a despatch operative to join their current team on a permanent basis due to continued growth.  We are looking for someone who is capable of working within a fast-paced despatch environment, to ensure the flow of products to and from suppliers as well as customers.  Duties will include: Raising purchase orders for suppliers and treatments for all product flowing through. Operate internal ERP system for everyday tasks such as Purchase orders, delivery manifest, tracking info, stock levels etc. Packing and shipping parts to customers and raising relevant courier pickups to ensure product is shipped on time. Work with the van driver to ensure all parts are ready to go to treatments for the next day. Maintain packaging supplies at acceptable levels to ensure we have no shortages. Ensure all parts are booked to stock with locations and are packed effectively for safe handling. Support in any stock taking checks that are required every month. Liase with the production/planning managers to ensure product is shipped to customer on time and in full where possible. Highlight any health and safety issues that may affect yourself or anyone around you. Always maintain a clean working environment to ensure there is FOD (Foreign Object debris) in any packaging to suppliers and customers.
