The Role

You'll be working as part of a close-knit machining team on a straightforward day shift pattern, operating and setting CNC machinery to produce high-precision components to tight tolerances. Key Responsibilities

  • Programming, setting, editing, operating and monitoring CNC machinery
  • Reading and interpreting engineering drawings and technical specifications
  • Carrying out in-process quality checks to ensure components meet required tolerances
  • Identifying and resolving machining issues as they arise
  • Maintaining a clean, safe and organised work area
  • Contributing to a culture of quality and continuous improvement

  • Proven experience as a CNC Machinist in a precision engineering or manufacturing environment
  • Ability to program, set, edit and operate CNC machines with confidence
  • Competent in reading engineering drawings and using precision measuring equipment

The Opportunity As Quality Assurance Engineer, you will facilitate business functions to ensure they operate in line with the company’s Quality Commitment and Policy. The Role We are looking for a talented Mechanical Design Engineer to join an established engineering team, working on the design and development of complex mechanisms, machine systems and assemblies. This is a genuinely varied role that spans the full product lifecycle, from concept and design through to supporting manufacturing, assembly and commissioning.
