Working Hours

  • Monday–Wednesday: 07:00 – 17:00

  • Thursday: 07:00 – 16:30

  • Optional overtime available on Fridays


Pay Rates

Pay rates increase with skills development - realistic opportunities to rise to the level 3 rate within 4-6 months after starting, depending on how quickly full competence is achieved. 

  • Starting rate - Level 1: £12.60/hour

  • Level 2: £12.66/hour

  • Level 3: £13.59/hour

    Overtime Pay:

    • Time and a half (1.5x) for hours over 37.5, Monday–Saturday

    • Double time (2x) for Sundays & Bank Holidays


What You’ll Be Doing

  • Assembling parts using hand tools and machinery

  • Reading and working from technical drawings

  • Producing components and sub-assemblies

  • Keeping your workspace clean and organised

  • Performing basic preventative maintenance

  • Troubleshooting and resolving assembly issues

  • Ensuring all components are accurately fitted and assembled

The Role We are looking for an experienced Quality Engineer to play a key role within a busy Quality Department. Working cross-functionally with suppliers, customers, and internal teams, you'll help drive a culture of operational excellence and Right First Time thinking - ensuring that products, processes, and systems consistently meet internal, customer, and regulatory standards. This is a varied, hands-on role that spans quality assurance, supplier management, continuous improvement, internal auditing, and KPI reporting - with real scope to make an impact across the business.
