The basics:

  • Working hours: Monday to Thursday 6:30am to 4pm, Friday 6:30am to 11:45am, totalling 40 hours per week.
  • Pay rates: starting at £13.50ph, with realistic opportunity to increase up to £16.00ph after training. Overtime is paid at a premium rate.
  • Annual leave entitlement: 6.2 weeks annual leave after 12-week qualifying period.
  • Contract type: Ongoing temporary with permanent opportunities for those with the aptitude and attitude to perform in line with targets.
  • Location: Stourton, Leeds – LS10. Free onsite parking and easy access by public transport.

 

About the job:

  • Assembling of metal cages; connecting panels with spiral screws, inserting and stapling lining material, folding and transporting ready for dispatch
  • Using a staple gun and hand tools
  • After initial training, you will be working to achievable daily targets

 

About you:

  • Previous construction or heavy assembly experience
  • Experience using hand tools
  • Willing and able to do heavy lifting and manual handling
  • Have attention to detail on quality and take pride in your work
  • Ability to work well as part of a team
  • An FLT Counterbalance licence would be beneficial, however is not a necessity

Due to growth, they are now looking for an experienced Large Format Digital Print Operator to join their production team on a double day shift. You'll take full responsibility for operating a SwissQprint Kudu UV flatbed printer, producing work to the highest standards while meeting production schedules and customer deadlines. This role suits someone with excellent technical ability, a sharp eye for detail and a genuine passion for outstanding print quality. Key Responsibilities Operating the SwissQprint Kudu UV flatbed printer. Setting up and running production jobs efficiently across a range of rigid and flexible substrates. Monitoring colour consistency and print quality throughout production. Reading and interpreting job tickets and production instructions. Loading and unloading substrates safely. Carrying out daily maintenance, cleaning routines and basic troubleshooting. Ensuring production targets and delivery deadlines are consistently achieved. Maintaining high standards of housekeeping and following all Health & Safety procedures. Working closely with colleagues across the production and finishing departments. CAD & Digital Cutting Operative

Our client is a leading specialist in innovative POS and large format display solutions for major brands and retailers, Due to growth, they are now looking for a skilled CAD & Digital Cutting Operative to join their finishing team on a permanent late shift. You'll operate digital cutting systems (Zünd and Kongsberg) and work hands-on with ArtiosCAD and other CAD software to prepare and modify cutting files for complex display units — FSDUs, CTUs, POS displays and packaging. Alongside the cutting and CAD work, you'll support the wider running of the factory, including assembly, material handling and general production duties. Key Responsibilities Digital Cutting & CAD Operate and programme digital cutting tables including Zünd and Kongsberg systems. Prepare and modify cutting files using ArtiosCAD, ZCC, i-cut and other CAD/design software — ensuring correct cut paths, creasing, routing and fold lines. Read and interpret job tickets, technical drawings, dielines and production specifications. Select, install and maintain correct tooling; carry out test cuts and adjust settings for precision and quality. Liaise with pre-press and design teams to resolve file or specification issues, and maintain version control. Production, Assembly & Warehousing Assist with the assembly of FSDUs, CTUs and POS units — folding, gluing, slotting and fixing components. Support Goods In/Out, material handling, palletising, wrapping, labelling and dispatch prep. Operate a forklift (where licensed) and act as banksman when moving large or heavy materials. Support stock rotation, warehousing and general factory duties, maintaining high housekeeping standards throughout. Health & Safety Follow all company Health & Safety procedures, risk assessments and safe systems of work. Use PPE and ensure safe handling of blades, routing tools and cutting equipment. Proficiency in ArtiosCAD and other CAD/design software for structural displays and units. Experience within large format print, POS, FSDUs, CTUs or packaging production. A good understanding of structural design, cut paths, crease lines, folding and assembly. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications. Strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail and quality focus. A forklift licence (Counterbalance preferred) is advantageous.
