Typical Hours:

Mon–Wed: 07:00–17:00

Thu: 07:00–16:30

What You’ll Be Doing
As a Pipe Welder, you’ll be at the heart of creating and maintaining high-quality engineering projects:

Comply with site-specific and industry welding codes and standards (e.g., BSEN, ASME, AWS)

Review technical drawings, blueprints, and welding specifications
-
Measure, cut, and prepare pipework using saws, torches, and pipe cutters
-
Perform TIG welding on schedule wall pipework and Tru-Bore thin wall pipework of varying sizes

Purge pipework in line with safety and quality procedures
-
Ensure welds meet exact quality standards, including pressure and integrity testing

Fit and tack weld pipe sections before final welding
-
Repair or rework defective welds as required
What We’re Looking For

Proven experience in pipe welding or a similar role

Proficiency in multiple welding techniques

Strong understanding of pipe materials and welding codes

Ability to read and interpret technical drawings

Excellent attention to detail and hand-eye coordination
-
Welding certification (e.g., BSEN, ASME, AWS) preferred
