They have an opening for an environmental and facilities labourer to join their team on an initial 12 month fixed term contract.

The purpose of the job role is to ensure the waste streams and material movement internally and externally across the site are controlled and managed. In a safe manner. To help and support stores with the delivery / scanning of parts to build bays and collecting and returning empty Boxes / trollies and pallets to designated areas. To support Tool stores as and when required. To ensure the outside of the factory is tidy and presentable.

Salary: £29,750 per annum
Shift: Staggered day shift - starting between 6am and 8am and finishing between 2pm and 4pm.
Contract: 12 month fixed term contract - with potential extension/convert to permanent

Previous experience in a similar role and a valid counterbalance FLT licence (verified by RTITB, ITSSAR or BRITTOP) is essential for this role.

A proper engineering environment.  The Role  Based at the Wortley, Leeds site, you’ll play a key role in the assembly and testing of bespoke OEM machinery to precise customer specifications. This isn’t repetitive production work - you’ll be involved in problem solving, supporting less experienced colleagues, and contributing to non-conformance investigations.
