About the Role

Cubed Talent is proud to be partnering with an established Yorkshire textiles manufacturer with a 100 year heritage, supplying customers across the UK and internationally, to find a hands-on Ecommerce & Digital Marketing Executive. You'll be driving the growth of two of their brands - and given real room to make them your own.

This isn't a cog-in-a-big-machine role. It's ecommerce, digital marketing, content and customer acquisition, all under your ownership, in a business small enough that your ideas actually get heard and acted on. If you're commercially minded, entrepreneurial and happiest when you're trusted to get on with it, keep reading.

The role

You'll take day-to-day ownership of ecommerce and digital marketing activity for two brands - planning ahead, spotting opportunities, turning ideas into campaigns, and measuring what works. Shopify experience is essential; you'll need to be confident running a store independently and using it to push traffic, conversion and sales.

You don't need a background in textiles. Our client is looking for a strong marketer who can learn a specialist industry quickly, not someone who's already done it.

What you'll be doing

Ecommerce - managing Shopify stores, products, collections, pricing and content; monitoring traffic, conversion and sales; supporting launches, promotions and merchandising; and keeping website content and SEO in good shape.

Digital marketing - planning and delivering activity across social, email and web; creating and scheduling content; running email campaigns; and building campaigns that grow awareness, traffic and sales.

Customer acquisition - researching new customers and markets, building prospect lists, running outbound outreach, and tracking and following up leads.

Market & competitor research - keeping an eye on competitors, pricing and trends, scoping relevant trade shows, and turning what you find into practical recommendations.

Content & brand - creating engaging content across social, email and web for Laxtons, The Undyed Studio and Bramble & Fleece.

Reporting - regular reporting that focuses on results, insight and next steps, not just a list of tasks completed.

What we're looking for

Strong, hands-on Shopify experience is essential. Beyond that, you'll bring digital marketing and/or ecommerce experience, social media and content management, and email marketing. You'll have strong written communication, excellent attention to detail and solid organisational skills, and you'll be comfortable analysing data and making recommendations off the back of it.

Just as important is the mindset: commercially aware, proactive, able to work independently, and genuinely entrepreneurial - someone who wants to take ownership of a market and grow it. In a small, agile team you'll wear a lot of hats and priorities will shift, so we're after someone adaptable, resilient and happy to roll with it.

A full UK driving licence is required.

Nice to have (but not essential)

SEO, Google Analytics/GA4, CRM experience, paid social or digital advertising, Canva or Adobe Creative tools, B2B marketing, and customer acquisition or outbound experience.

Hours & benefits

  • 33 days annual leave
  • Employee Ownership Trust - you'll be part of an employee-owned business, with a genuine stake in its success
  • Working hours: 8:30am – 5:00pm Monday to Thursday, with an early 4:00pm finish on Fridays
  • Regular team events
  • Monthly rewards

This is a real chance to join an established, employee-owned Yorkshire manufacturing business and shape its ecommerce, digital marketing and customer acquisition from the ground up across two growing brands. Plenty of ownership, plenty of variety, and the satisfaction of seeing your work move the numbers - in a company where that success is shared.
