We are seeking a confident and capable Bench Hand Joiner to join us on a temporary assignment with a genuine opportunity to become permanent.
You will be responsible for carrying out a range of bench joinery duties, working with timber and wood-based materials to produce high-quality work to the required specification. You will need to be comfortable interpreting technical drawings and working with cabinet vision.
This position would suit a joiner who enjoys working with precision, takes pride in delivering a high standard of workmanship and is able to work efficiently while maintaining excellent attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities
  • Carry out a range of bench hand joinery duties.
  • Work with a variety of timber and wood-based materials.
  • Read, understand and work accurately from technical drawings and cabinet vision.
  • Use AutoCAD as required to support the interpretation and production of joinery work.
  • Measure, mark out, cut, assemble and finish components accurately.
  • Ensure all work is completed to the required quality and specification.
  • Maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Work efficiently to meet deadlines and production requirements.
  • Maintain a clean, organised and safe working environment.
  • Follow all relevant health and safety procedures and company standards.
About You
We are looking for someone with proven experience in a similar bench joinery role who takes pride in delivering quality work
You will ideally have:
  • Previous experience as a Bench Hand Joiner.
  • Strong practical joinery skills and a good understanding of working with timber.
  • Experience interpreting technical drawings and cabinet designs.
  • Experience using or working from AutoCAD drawings.
  • Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a wider team.
  • A reliable, hardworking and professional approach.
  • Your own transport, due to the rural location of the site.
  • Safety boots, which are required for the role.

Our client is a leading specialist in innovative POS and large format display solutions for major brands and retailers, Due to growth, they are now looking for a skilled CAD & Digital Cutting Operative to join their finishing team on a permanent late shift. You'll operate digital cutting systems (Zünd and Kongsberg) and work hands-on with ArtiosCAD and other CAD software to prepare and modify cutting files for complex display units — FSDUs, CTUs, POS displays and packaging. Alongside the cutting and CAD work, you'll support the wider running of the factory, including assembly, material handling and general production duties. Key Responsibilities Digital Cutting & CAD Operate and programme digital cutting tables including Zünd and Kongsberg systems. Prepare and modify cutting files using ArtiosCAD, ZCC, i-cut and other CAD/design software — ensuring correct cut paths, creasing, routing and fold lines. Read and interpret job tickets, technical drawings, dielines and production specifications. Select, install and maintain correct tooling; carry out test cuts and adjust settings for precision and quality. Liaise with pre-press and design teams to resolve file or specification issues, and maintain version control.
