About the Role

Cubed Talent are pleased to be recruiting for one of our long-standing clients based in the Shipley area. Our client is looking to appoint an Assembly Technician to join their current team on a permanent basis due to continued growth. 

We are looking for someone who is capable of working within a fast-paced engineering or assembly environment.

Starting salary £26,000 per annum, increasing with skills and capabilities

· Day shift - Mon–Fri, 40 hours per week

· Flexitime - flexible start and finish times

· 32 days holiday including statutory Bank Holidays

· Free Parking

· Uniform

The Role:

· Working from Standard Operating Procedures

· Use of hand, air and power tools to assemble small components to specification

· Assembling multiple parts to complete a sellable product

· Placing products into components

· Working with aluminium and steel

· Working toward production targets

· Quality checking own work against specifications

The Candidate:

· Will ideally have previous assembly experience

· Ability to follow Standard Operating Procedures to assemble components to specification

· Confident in using hand, air and power tools

· Ability to handle small components

· Ability to work to exacting standards

· Experience in working to production targets

· Willing to complete an assembly test at the interview stage

Manufacturing / Assembly Operative

Calling all assembly operatives based in Keighley or around areas! Are you looking to work Monday to Friday? We are currently recruiting Manufacturing Operatives for temporary assignments due to start in the coming weeks. This is an excellent opportunity to gain long-lasting employment within a fantastic local employer in a fast-paced, results-driven manufacturing environment. Duties will include: Table hand operations Working with a variety of materials including cardboard, metal, and wood Transporting goods/stock on pallet trucks Stock control & general warehousing duties Completing job sheets accurately This position can involve some heavy lifting. Attention to detail, accuracy, and an eye for quality is essential to being successful in this position. Experience in assembly work would be an advantage but training will be given. The ideal candidate will be computer literate and have good levels of English and Maths. Pay rate: £12.21 per hour Overtime is paid at Tx1.5 on hours worked over basic 37.5 hours Monday through Saturday and at Tx2 Sundays and Bank Holidays. Hours: Basic hours are 08:00 – 17:00 Monday to Thursday and 08:00 - 12:30 on Fridays.
