Our client’s modern site is conveniently located near the M606 in Bradford (BD12) – easily accessible from South Bradford, South Leeds, Birstall, Halifax, and North Huddersfield.


Working Hours

  • Monday–Wednesday: 07:00 – 17:00

  • Thursday: 07:00 – 16:30

  • Optional overtime available on Fridays


Pay Rates

Pay rates increase with skills development - realistic opportunities to rise to the level 3 rate within 4-6 months after starting, depending on how quickly full competence is achieved. 
  • Starting rate - Level 1: £12.60/hour

  • Level 2: £12.66/hour

  • Level 3: £13.59/hour

    Overtime Pay:

    • Time and a half (1.5x) for hours over 37.5, Monday–Saturday

    • Double time (2x) for Sundays & Bank Holidays


What You’ll Be Doing

  • Assembling parts using hand tools and machinery

  • Reading and working from technical drawings

  • Producing components and sub-assemblies

  • Keeping your workspace clean and organised

  • Performing basic preventative maintenance

  • Troubleshooting and resolving assembly issues

  • Ensuring all components are accurately fitted and assembled


What We’re Looking For

  • Practical skills with tools or machinery (training provided for entry-level candidates)

  • Ability to read drawings or willingness to learn

  • A positive, team-focused attitude with attention to detail

Materials Handler with FLT Counterbalance

Cubed Talent are pleased to be recruiting for one of our long-standing clients based in the Shipley area. Our client is looking to appoint a materials handler to join their current team on a permanent basis due to continued growth.  We are looking for someone who is capable of working within a fast-paced engineering stores or despatch environment, to ensure materials are unloaded, decanted and located as required, and picked and issued ready for production. There is potential for this role to develop into a team leader position over time, heading up a small team. Ideal experience includes supervision within print, production, assembly or machine operation environments. As Production Supervisor, you will play a key role in overseeing day-to-day production operations, working with the team to ensure jobs are delivered to the highest standards of quality, efficiency, and safety.
