The Opportunity

- Drive effective supplier (Sub-Con) development to minimise non-compliance, cost, and delivery issues
- Champion APQP/PPAP capabilities within NPI and production processes
- Oversee FAIRs for NPI, process changes, and production requests
- Challenge existing processes to enhance effectiveness, efficiency, and cost control
- Monitor product measurement equipment to ensure timely calibration in line with QMS standards
- Ensure all international, national, and customer specifications and standards are up to date and accessible
- Stay abreast of innovations, quality practices, and industry trends to continually improve systems
- Provide quality team input to daily production dojo sessions
- Identify and manage the notification process for any non-compliant product escapes to customers
- Recognised Engineering Apprenticeship or substantial experience in an engineering discipline
- Proven experience as a Quality Manager within a manufacturing or engineering environment
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to perform under pressure
- Excellent communication and leadership skills with the ability to influence and engage teams
- A genuine passion for quality management and commitment to staying current with industry standards and regulations

Key Responsibilities

Your Background
Experienced Spray Painter (ideally Level 3 qualified in Vehicle Refinishing/ Body Repair, Industrial Coatings, or Decorative Finishing)
Working from technical instructions
Ability to complete the process from prep- finish
Knowledge of COSHH
