Our client is a leading name in the engineering sector, specialising in modular and offsite solutions. Their state-of-the-art facility produces a diverse range of high-quality products for multiple industries, manufactured to the highest standards.

• £16.60 per hour, rising to £17.99 (upon coding)
• 4-day working week – Monday to Thursday, 37.5 hours per week
• Overtime at enhanced rates (1.5x for hours over 37.5 Monday–Saturday, 2x on Sundays & Bank Holidays)

Your Role

• Work from engineering drawings
• Weld products to specification, ensuring a consistent, high-quality finish
• Perform MIG welding on mild steel, including box sections, fillet welds, and butt welds
• Deliver flawless finishes on carbon (mild) steels, from 3mm to 30mm thickness (and occasionally thicker for special projects)
• Dress and quality-check welded products
• Operate overhead cranes safely and efficiently
• Uphold and contribute to the company’s safety culture

The Skills You’ll Bring

• Ideally, a Level 3 welding qualification
• Ability to interpret instructions and produce precise, high-quality welds
• Experience with welding box sections, laying fillet and butt welds
• Skilled in dressing products for a professional finish
