The Role

As an Internal Account Manager, you’ll take responsibility for a portfolio of major customer accounts. Acting as the first point of contact, you’ll deliver friendly, efficient, and proactive service that strengthens relationships and drives loyalty. Working closely with the External Sales team, you’ll play a key role in growing strategic accounts and helping the business meet its commercial goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Produce accurate and timely quotations, capturing data for follow-up and analysis

  • Manage all associated documentation, ensuring compliance with internal procedures

  • Support the External Sales team in managing and developing major accounts

  • Build and maintain strong, long-term customer relationships

  • Identify and support quality and documentation requirements

  • Spot and help develop new business opportunities

  • Assist in resolving customer queries and issues efficiently

  • Monitor account performance and report key data to internal stakeholders

  • Progress quotations and orders promptly, meeting KPIs

  • Liaise proactively with internal teams and manufacturing sites to anticipate and address customer needs

  • Support customer meetings and visits as required

About You

Essential Experience

  • Proven experience in a proactive, outbound customer contact role

  • Strong background in Customer Service or Account Management

  • Excellent communication, influencing, and negotiation skills

Preferred Experience

  • Familiarity with Oracle or similar CRM/ERP systems

  • Experience in Account Management within a manufacturing or engineering B2B environment

Qualifications

  • GCSEs (or equivalent) including Maths and English

  • NVQ in Customer Service or an Engineering qualification is desirable but not essential

Our client works within sectors such as; Construction, Agriculture, Forestry, Mining, Material Handling and Off Road.  Position Overview  We are seeking an experienced Senior Quality Engineer to join our fast-paced manufacturing team, specialising in the production of lighting solutions for commercial vehicles and off-highway equipment.   In this role, you will have full ownership of the company’s Quality and Environmental Management Systems (QEMS), ensuring compliance with ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 standards.   You will provide expert technical quality support across the business, lead continuous improvement initiatives, and play a key role in strengthening our culture of quality and environmental responsibility. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, detail-oriented, and driven to deliver exceptional results.  Key Responsibilities.  Manage, maintain, and continuously improve the Quality and Environmental Management Systems (QEMS) and associated procedures.  Audit and update processes, manuals, and documentation in line with evolving standards and requirements.  Lead and coordinate customer audits, ensuring successful outcomes.  Conduct internal audits for ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 compliance.  Oversee document control, release, and revision management.  Perform supplier audits and manage quality relationships with external partners.  Prepare and manage customer PPAP and ISIR documentation.  Maintain calibration processes for equipment and tools.  Manage internal, supplier, and customer non-conformance investigations.  Manage Goods Inwards Inspection documentation and processes.  Track, analyse, and generate monthly quality KPIs.  Conduct quality checks across manufacturing stages to ensure product compliance.  Lead continuous improvement projects to enhance production quality and efficiency.  Required Qualifications & Skills  Exceptional attention to detail.  Relevant qualification in Quality Management or Engineering.  ISO 9001:2015 Auditor.  Strong knowledge of problem-solving methodologies (8D, RCA, 5 Whys).  Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a quality engineering role.  Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.  Excellent internal and external communication skills at all levels.  Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.  Desired Qualifications & Skills  Understanding of ISO 14001 requirements (ISO 14001 Auditor preferred).  Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and techniques.  Sound like your next move?  For more information, contact Sally Jowett on 07389 721918; sallyj@cubedtalent.co.uk Or apply online now and take the next step in your career.
