Walking the Talk: Cubed Talent Takes on 100 Miles for Mental Health
Cubed Talent is taking on the 100 Mile Challenge in support of the Mental Health Foundation, promoting wellbeing and mental health awareness.
At Cubed Talent, we know that looking after your mental health isn’t just about big gestures. It’s about the small, everyday things that make you feel good, such as getting out for a walk, listening to music in the car, or making some time to read a good book.
In October, we celebrated World Mental Health Day by sharing how our team members prioritise their own well-being. From dog walks on the moors to long runs, from sketching and painting to moments of mindfulness, the team opened up about what helps them recharge and find balance.
As Stella shared, “I think of scenic views as I go to sleep to help me relax and go to my happy place.”
For Raj, “Painting, sketching, organising my space, and working out at the gym with loud music help me unwind and relax.”
And for Jess, “I like to get lost in a really good book or sing my heart out in the car.”
Taking the Next Step
This November, the Cubed team have decided to take part in the 100 Mile Challenge in support of the Mental Health Foundation.
We’ll be walking a 100 miles (each!) over the month as a challenge and commitment to get ourselves moving. Whether it’s a lunchtime stroll round the very lovely Roberts Park, an evening walk with the dog, or a weekend hike in the hills, every step will be counted!
Join Us on the Journey
We’ll be sharing our progress throughout November, including the early morning steps, the team miles, and yes, even the occasional soggy Yorkshire walk.
You can cheer us on, take part in your own 100 mile challenge, or donate to support the Mental Health Foundation. Every contribution helps fund research, education, and community programmes that make a difference to people’s lives.
Thanks to everyone who has donated so far, it is really appreciated.
