Our client is looking for a CNC Miller, there will be opportunity to upskill to become a multi-skilled CNC Machinist. The purpose of the role will be to machine precision components to specification ensuring a 'right first time' approach to exceed customer expectations. What's in it for you? £40,560 per annum DOE inc of shift allowance for nights Permanent 40 hours per week, flexible start and finish between 4:30pm/5:30am over Monday to Thursday. 32 days holiday, inclusive of public holidays, pro rata Free Parking Uniform The Role Working from drawings and instructions to machine first off's Setting and operating a range of DMG Mori Seiki machines, with Fanuc, Siemens and Heidenhain controls Quality checking parts using Mitutoyo CMM Contributing to lean manufacturing and delivering operational efficiencies within their cell Reporting any non-conformance and support the quality department when investigating the root cause Working on batches of 50-110 plus Working to tight tolerances (Microns) Machining Aluminium, Inconel, Titanium and Steel The Candidate You will hold an Engineering Qualification and have significant experience in CNC Machining Ability to work from Engineering drawings Passionate about working to 'right first time' standards Experience of CNC milling Ability to work in a positive/collaborative culture where continuous improvement is paramount.
