Job Opportunity: Mechanical Fitter – Bradford, West Yorkshire
Salary: Up to £38,000 per annum (DOE)
Shift: Days (Full-time)

Our client is renowned for its expertise in process automation, robotics, and assembly systems, which are widely used in industries such as automotive, aerospace, defence, and medical. As they continue to expand, they're seeking a talented Mechanical Fitter to join their dynamic Engineering team.
About the Role:
As a Mechanical Fitter, you will play a pivotal role in building, assembling, and commissioning advanced machinery for a variety of high-profile industries. You will be responsible for ensuring that every element of the machines is functioning perfectly from design to delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
Assemble and fit mechanical components for special-purpose machinery.
Collaborate with the Design team to troubleshoot and resolve design issues.
Lead projects on the shop floor throughout the build process.
Assist in the commissioning and development of machinery after assembly.
Install and commission machinery at customer sites and gain approval.
Assemble and test pneumatic systems and assist with electrical build as needed.
Perform manual checks and tests on machine operations before customer acceptance.
What We’re Looking For:
A recognized mechanical qualification.
Extensive experience in mechanical fitting, ideally within automation or related fields.
Strong problem-solving abilities and a keen passion for engineering.
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively with the wider engineering team.
