Following a busy 2015 based in Germany, in January I had the pleasure of undertaking an assignment in Detroit, USA; supporting the talent acquisition strategies for BorgWarner, a global player in clean propulsion technology for automotive OEMs.

Fantastic achievements were the first talent supplier lunch, renegotiation of job board contracts and the launch of global training initiatives around recruitment, applicant tracking systems and candidate experiences. In April, I returned to Germany to continue development of candidate experiences, mobile application and brand engagement.

Biggest challenge to date.

With the support of industry-led professionals and based in the historic-heartbeat of UK manufacturing, I joined Hunter Wolff to lead our retained HR and In-House Talent Acquisition group – agency fatigue, over reliance on 3rd parties, high risk and value leaving the business are guiding challenges that build our solution foundation to clients.

The tail end of 2016 has seen incredible developments with our network adopting in-house and evolving business practices to deliver cost reductions and high quality frameworks for their talent needs. I am proud to be using my experience gained in a global role to build success for companies and their teams.

2017 here I come
